Undie 500 Week 2024
Monday, May 20 – Friday, May 24
Donations accepted 10am-4pm; Extended hours on Thursday, May 23, until 6pm.
Join us in the race to collect 500 (or 5000?!?) brand-new pairs of underwear and bras for the women and children of St. Margaret’s House!
At St. Margaret’s House, we distribute more than 4000 pairs of underwear and bras each year. As we affirm the dignity of each woman who walks through our doors, we do not give out used underwear.
Visit our Amazon Wish List to purchase items and have them shipped directly to us.
Needed items include:
- New underwear in all sizes from XS to 3X.
- New bras in all sizes, especially sports bras and bralettes.
- New children’s underwear in girls’ and boys’ sizes up to 12.
PAST EVENTS
Winter Walk 2024
We held our 25th annual Winter Walk on Sunday, February 18th. Thank you so much to everyone: 500+ in-person walkers, 65 virtual walkers, and 75 volunteers for making this event so successful. We raised over $100,000 which is a new Winter Walk record!
We premiered this beautiful video, produced by Michael McDonald of Poïesis Productions, as we kicked off the event.
A Common Thread
Our storytelling event, A Common Thread, was a wonderful success! It was held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at the Main Campus Auditorium at IU South Bend. Thank you so much to our storytellers, our sponsors, and everyone who attended.
