By the Numbers
Welcoming Women
An average of 70 women and children walk through our doors each day, and every one is seen for who she truly is—an artist, a teacher, a mother—and not just her current circumstances.
Creating Community
Connection and community are essential to well-being. 76% of our guests report visiting St. Margaret’s House at least once per week, including 21% who come every day.
Serving Nutritious Meals
We provide breakfast and hot lunch and are continually striving towards an excellent food program that provides comfort without fueling chronic disease.
Meeting Essential Needs
In addition to being fed, a woman needs to feel safe, rested, clean, and warm in order to pursue higher-level needs. St. Margaret’s House is a low-barrier center where our guests can meet these needs.
