Our Groundbreaking Celebration was unforgettable. Watching everyone gather to sign the foundation stones that will literally hold up our future? Incredible.

Special thanks to the City of South Bend and United Way of St. Joseph County for their significant support of our project. Thank you to Rudy Rodriguez for this beautiful video!

During our building renovation, we are taking a detour—
while our mission to serve women with dignity continues.
We are accepting NEW women’s underwear and the items on our Amazon Wish List. Items may be purchased through this link or anywhere.
Please note that we are not able to accept any other clothing donations during this time. Thank you for understanding!

Undie 500 Week
Monday, May 18 – Friday, May 22

For 27 years, Winter Walk has brought our community together for a one-mile walk through downtown South Bend. We walk in solidarity with the women who rely on their own two feet for daily transportation—no matter the weather.

Thank you so much to everyone for making this year’s Winter Walk a huge success! We had over 500 walkers and raised more than $80,000. Special thanks to our lead sponsors:

Tire Rack
Old National Bank
Nationwide Janitorial Service

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Undie 500, a “race” to serve women with dignity and grace—and brand-new underwear and bras.

Over the course of a year at St. Margaret’s House, we distribute more than 4,000 pairs of underwear and bras. During this year’s Undie 500 drive, we collected 3,381 pairs of women’s and children’s underwear and bras. Thank you so much for racing with us!

In 2025, we hosted the 26th annual Winter Walk, a one-mile walk through downtown South Bend to support the women and children of St. Margaret’s House. We intentionally walk in February, the coldest month of the year, as a show of solidarity with our guests who have to walk, no matter the weather.

Thank you so much to everyone for making this year’s Winter Walk a huge success! We had nearly 500 walkers and raised more than $106,000, which is a new Winter Walk record. Special thanks to our lead sponsors:

HRP Construction
Nationwide Janitorial Service
Navarre Services
Premier Planning Partners of Raymond James
